This is the Yampa at the launch area. Notice the large log/tree in the middle of the picture we had stuff like this for most of the time we were on the Yampa.

This is Warren rigging his boat in the Deerlodge launch area. Notice the river is overflowing it's banks at this point.

This is Warm Springs rapid which is near the end of the Yampa River trip. By the time we reached this point, the water had actually gone down some. The BIG hole is out of the picture on the left.

This is another shot of Warm Springs. We had two boats flip here.

This is a Bob Vielehr holding an oar that snaped when he fliped in Warm Springs. He claimed that the oar broke when he was pulling back away from the rapid, and that what caused him to flip. Right!

This is Jones creek, it shows how the high water backed up the creek enough for us to get our boats up the creek about 75-100 feet.
